The BIOGAS 5000, GA5000 and the GEM5000 enjoy Geotech’s pedigree of manufacturing robust and reliable monitoring equipment in the UK.  To prove this, Geotech’s warranty is three years.

Geotech’s 3 year warranty scheme terms and conditions

Applies to gas analysers: GA5000, GEM5000 and BIOGAS 5000 manufactured after December 16th2011.

3 year manufacture warranty details:

  • Warranty effective from date of purchase or delivery, whichever is later
  • Proof of delivery / purchase must be provided to Geotech for any claims, this includes a Geotech sales order, invoice or delivery note
  • All warranty repairs can only be carried out by Geotech or its authorised agents
  • Repair or replacement (at Geotech discretion) of your analyser under warranty will not extend the period of warranty
  • Warranty covers repair or replacement (at Geotech’s discretion) of your gas analyser if it is found to be defective due to faulty parts or workmanship within the warranty period
  • Analysers must have been returned for regular service and calibration as recommended by Geotech or its authorised agents
  • This covers analyser only not any accessories
  • If no fault is found on the analyser an investigation charge may apply

What’s not included:

  • Normal wear and tear of parts that might wear out over time is not covered.  Parts not covered include electrochemical cells
  • Accidental damage
  • Faults arising from use of the gas analyser which is not in accordance with standard operating procedures laid out in Geotech operating manual
  • Faults arising from use of the gas analyser in unsuitable applications
  • Repairs or alterations carried out by parties other than Geotech or its authorised agents
  • A full service and calibration (this will be at Geotech discretion)
  • Any data stored on the analyser which may be lost
  • Any business related losses such as income, profits and contracts (as far as the law allows)

What voids the warranty:

  • When non approved Geotech parts have been used for repair
  • The analyser has been opened, unless by Geotech approved service centre
