We take our quality and compliance to international standards very seriously.  Our equipment is designed to comply with legislation across the world, particularly the stringent required in the UK and USA.

QED Environmental Systems is licensed to manufacture ATEX, CSA and IECEx certified products and is ISO9001 and MCERTS accredited.

All gas analysis and detection products must pass specialised and rigorous testing procedures before they are delivered to end customers, to support this we operate 3 global calibration laboratories accredited to the ISO:17025 standard.

QED Environmental Systems LTD. has achieved UKAS ISO17025 accreditation for its calibration lab for its full range of landfill and biogas analysers.

By controlling this process, it gives users the most comprehensive externally audited and verified performance endorsement available for a manufacturer of portable gas analyser calibration.

ATEX

ATEX is the name commonly given to the legal requirements for controlling explosive atmospheres and the suitability of equipment and protective systems used in them

CSA

Through independent testing, our portable analysers meet CSA certification recognised across North America.

Meeting this certification grants the CSA mark to be labelled on our analysers which is widely recognised and accepted by safety experts and our distributor. It confirms that it has been tested and has met the applicable standards for safety & performance as outlined by regulatory bodies ANSI, UL, CSA, NSF and more.

IECEx

Being IECEx compliant, QED Environmental Systems LTD. manufactures portable analysers to a global standard, ensuring high performance and safety to our customers.

IECEx is internationally recognised certification, globally accepted as a mark of performance and meeting high safety standards. It is based on a number of International Standards associated with explosive atmospheres, which gives our customers and distributor network the upmost confidence in the analyser.

MCERTS

MCERTS is the Environment Agency of England & Wales (EA) Monitoring Certification Scheme. It gives confirmation of performance of equipment to the demanding MCERTS standards which assists end users in demonstrating full compliance.

MCERTS provides the framework for businesses to meet quality requirements. Compliance with MCERTS gives the EA confidence in the monitoring of emissions to the environment. A key part of MCERTS is accrediting monitoring equipment and loggers used in environmental monitoring applications, although they may be invalidated if not used in line with the exact processes used when tested.
